Taking Charge of Our Energy Future

Have you seen the Village Power booklet 'Taking Charge of Our Energy Future'? It's available as a paper copy and online under the Resources section on the Village Power website and is a fount of easy-to-read information about the Alphington Battery and the Community Energy program.

Read about Village Power's Community Energy Model, the Community Energy Program (which still has a few places available to anyone inspired to make a difference), meet the current participants, learn why Community Energy matters to the whole neighbourhood including those without solar, and find out how to get involved.

Taking charge of our energy future is exactly what residents of Alphington - Fairfield are doing. This first-of-a-kind program will drive down fossil fuel energy use in the area and raise the amount of renewables the community uses.
