New Community Battery

Residents in Alphington may have noticed a community battery being installed at Pitcher Park this week.

This battery is owned by our local energy network provider Jemena and will be commissioned in the near future. The battery was funded by the Australian Government.

By June, Alphington will be fortunate to have two community batteries operating once the Village Power battery is installed at the entrance to the Farmer’s Market. The Village Power battery is funded by the Victorian State Government.
