President’s Report: Nov 2025

The team has been working hard over the last month to prepare our next milestone submission to the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.

The key focus for the submission has been to finalise a consolidated design for the Local Renewable Energy program. It’s taken some work but we now have an agreed approach that the team is excited to take forward and hope to be able to share the details of this in the near future.

Another important deliverable for this latest submission is the execution of the lease agreement between our project partner Acacia Energy and Darebin Council, a milestone we are extremely happy to have reached. Acacia has also been actively working with Jemena to further progress the connection agreement, as well as preparing to order the battery.
