Community Art Project funded by Bendigo Bank!

Several months ago, Village Power’s Jenny Crosbie applied for and carried through a $15,000 Bendigo Bank Community Grant. We is thrilled to announce that the application was successful. The grant was provided by the East Ivanhoe branch as part of their commitment to the local community. Thank you, Jenny!

The grant will fund the Village Power Community Art Project. The project will engage local artists via an expression of interest process. Artists will be invited to submit their ideas for an artwork design for the Village Power Battery, which will capture the theme 'Local Renewable Energy'. One artist will be chosen to develop their idea into an art design that will cover the battery.

The art project will be an important way for Village Power to share information about local renewable energy and engage the local community in our vision to increase the use of locally produced and stored renewable energy.
